The interest and support expressed by Professor Kauffman are nice and
encouraging.

As you recall, earlier this year we worked out your "clapping" version into
a
"clapping machine", which is a linear arrangement of concurrent single
clappings.
(We even considered a "clapping bacteria" scenario...)   The clapping
machine was
shown to be an implementation of BIP (Basic Intellector Process), something
that had been implemented in electronic circuitry.

Now, BIP embodies a variety of dialectical processes and has been shown
to be related to a number of scenarios, including the schematics of the
baryon
octet from elementary particle physics;  a simplified version of  a "big
bang"
scenario; and various perception-based scenarios.

I think that this train of connections answers Kauffman's quest for relating
your scheme to the rest there is...
